Prata Riverside Village was yesterday recognised at the GRI Awards Europe 2025 ceremony with the award for Best Retail Project. Held in Paris, the event celebrated the best in European real estate across 12 categories. 

Following a vote by a jury of 24 members, Prata Riverside Village was distinguished as the best retail project of the year, highlighting the work carried out in the management and operation of the retail spaces within the development. 

With approximately 20,000 square metres of available retail space at Prata Riverside Village (located on the ground floor of all plots), VIC Properties has, since the very beginning, pursued the strategy of retaining ownership of the commercial areas. This ensures a diverse and curated retail offer, designed to provide a wide range of services both to residents and to everyone visiting this area of Lisbon. 

Conceived by Italian architect Renzo Piano, Prata aims to be a true neighbourhood, where the sense of community can be experienced by all who choose to live in or visit it. In addition to retail, Prata also offers restaurants and cafés, home and interior shops, beauty and wellness spaces, and art and culture venues. By the end of 2025, six new spaces will open at Prata.
